- Manage the booking in/out of cutter tooling, tool holders, ancillary components, and fixtures
- Check and validate used cutter tooling to maximise tool life and reduce waste and cutter tooling spend
- Preparation of and signing off job packs
- Ensure department adherence to business-critical process data capture such as the Time Evaluation System (TES) and the Manufacturing Execution System (MESTEC).
- Build and pre-set CNC spindle tool assemblies as per part specific Work Instructions.
- Gather CNC spindle tool assemblies, Work Orders, workholding fixtures and material, and the part specific Work Instructions ready for production to meet the requirements of the business.
- Deliver completed “Job Packs” to the correct machine tool/area
- Disassemble CNC spindle tool assemblies after production
- Manage storage, building and pre-setting of spindle tool assemblies.
- Manage ad-hoc special cutter tooling inventory.
- Manage used cutter tooling and grading/discarding as required.
- Monitor condition/quantities of CNC spindle tool holders and collets.
- Track service requirements for driven tooling units.
- Manage all workholding fixture inventory.
