Overview
We are a specialist motorsport consultancy supporting high-performance engineering programmes across Formula 1, motorsport and advanced engineering environments. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and detail-driven Stores Person to take ownership of materials, inventory, and logistics operations supporting fast-paced technical projects.
This role is critical to keeping engineers productive and programmes moving. Accuracy, organisation, and accountability matter.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day stores operations including goods in, goods out, and internal material movements

Receive, inspect, and book in deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders

Maintain stock control and inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and audits

Prepare and issue kits, components, and materials to engineers and consultants

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including couriers and freight

Ensure full traceability of parts, batches, and documentation where required

Maintain a clean, organised, and professional stores environment

Support project teams with urgent or short-notice material requests

Update ERP / inventory systems accurately and in real time

Identify and flag stock shortages, risks, or process improvements
Required Experience & Skills

Previous experience in a stores, logistics, inventory, or materials role

Strong attention to detail and a methodical working style

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Confident using inventory systems, spreadsheets, or ERP software

Ability to manage priorities independently with minimal supervision

Good communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
Desirable (Not Essential)

Experience within motorsport, automotive, aerospace, or engineering environments

Understanding of traceability, batch control, FIFO, or quality-driven processes

Forklift licence or manual handling training

Exposure to composite, machining, or additive manufacturing materials
