We are looking for a Project Planner to join a high-performance engineering organisation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining realistic project plans, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource forecasting, and risk management. This role plays a critical part in supporting complex engineering and manufacturing projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Construct and baseline project schedules with logical dependencies.

  • Develop resource models to forecast demand across teams.

  • Monitor and manage plans through completion, identifying improvements where possible.

  • Proactively identify and communicate risks and impacts to stakeholders.

  • Participate in planning meetings and provide clear, actionable updates.

  • Uphold professional standards and reporting protocols.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard project planning methods and tools.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience with mainstream PPM software (e.g., Microsoft PWA, Primavera P6, or similar).

  • Knowledge of project management principles, supported by qualifications (Prince 2, APM PMQ) or equivalent experience.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and reporting tools such as Power BI.

  • Previous experience as a Project Planner in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Calm, confident, and results-oriented, even under pressure.

  • Flexible and collaborative approach in fast-changing environments.

  • Commitment to Health & Safety standards.
